Ingredients: 2 cups softened butter
24oz chocolate chips
4 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2tsp soda
1tsp salt
2cups sugar
1 8oz Hershey chocolate bar grated
5 cups blended oatmeal
4 eggs
2tsp baking powder
2tsp vanilla
3 cups chopped nuts (your favourite)

Directions: |
Directions:Blend oatmeal to a fine powder. Cream butter and both sugars eggs & vanilla, mix together with flour blended oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 min at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies. Ps recipe can be halved |

Notes: Story behind this recipe, a customer of their's ordered a meal and had a cookie for dessert. The customer asked the waiter whether they could get a copy of the recipe so the waiter went to ask the chef who told him that he would sell it for 350. Customer thinking it was $3.50 however when the person got their visa bill the following month it was $350.00 He was so upset that he decided to share it with everyone he knew and told everyone to share it with everyone they knew so on goes the recipe.
