Mix:
½ C butter
1 ½ C sugar
5 eggs
½ jar jelly
½ C brandy
salt
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp nutmeg
2 Tbsp cinnamon
½ t baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp dark syrup
2 ½ C flour
2 C nuts
2 jars marchino cherries (cut into pieces)

Boil:

1 C raisins
1 lb dates (cut up)
2 lbs mixed fruit
1 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water. Add raisins, dates, mixed fruit. When cooked, cool and add above mixture. Bake 1 ½ to 2 hours at 250º. When cool wrap in wine and store in refridgerator.
