Pie Crust (Qty 2)

¾ C shortening
2 tbsp milk
¼ C boiling water
2 C flour
1 t salt

Filling

⅓ C butter
¾ C brown sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
½ C dark corn syrup
¼ t salt
1 t vanilla
1 ½ C chopped pecans
1 C sour cream

Directions:

Pie Crust:

Mix ingredients. Bake at 450º for about 12-15 minutes.

Filling:
ream butter and sugar. Add eggs, syrup, salt and vanilla. Stir in pecans and sour cream. Makes 2 small pies. Can add whole pecans on top. Bake 375º for 40-50 minutes.
