1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter - either creamy or chunky
1/2 butter - softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Additional granulated sugar for rolling
36 kisses or mini reeses peanut butter cups
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees
In a large bowl beat all sugars, peanut butter, vanilla and egg on medium speed
Stir in flour, baking soda and powder until dough forms
Shape dough into 1 inch balls
Roll in additional granulated sugar
Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown
Take out cookies and press kiss or peanut butter cup through middle of cookie
Put back into oven for an additional 1 minute
Take out and cool cookies on a cooling rack
