½ cup soft butter

½ cup brown sugar

¾ cup molasses

1 egg

3 cups flour

1½ tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. ginger

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. clove

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, salt, baking soda, and flour

2. Set aside

3. Beat butter and sugar 8 minutes until light and fluffy

4. Slowly add molasses and egg

5. Beat until well incorporated

6. Add dry ingredients

7. Mix until everything is together

8. Wrap dough in saranwrap

9. Lay dough on sheet tray

10. Refrigerate 1½ hours

11. Roll out dough ¼ inch thick

12. Create shapes with cookie cutters

13. Preheat oven to 325º F

14. Freeze for 10 minutes

15. Bake for 10 minutes
