1/2 C butter
1 C honey
1 egg
2 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C sour milk
3/4 C pecans
3/4 C raisins
3/4 C dates

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and honey; add the egg, sour milk, and flour mixture. Add nuts and fruit. Drop on greased baking sheet and bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes.

**To make exactly 1/4 cup of sour milk put 1 tsp of vinegar in a measuring cup and fill it up with 2% milk until you get to the 1/4 cup mark. Give it a stir. I recommend using whole milk or 2% milk and white vinegar.

Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes so it can become soured and it’s ready to use
