9 egg yolks beaten to lemon color
½ c. boiling water
1¼ c. sifted sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1¾ c. flour
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. almond extract
Directions:
Directions:
Sift baking powder and flour together twice. Beat egg yolks. Pour boiling water over. Beat until very light and foamy. Gradually fold in sugar then flour and remaining ingredients. Bake 1 hour in tube pan at 325º. Invert to cool.
