1 c. sugar
½ c. flour
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 stick butter
3 squares bitter chocolate
½ - 1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350ºF. Mix together the sugar and flour. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined. Pour into an 8 inch x 8 inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool, cut into squares.

This was a favorite of ours when we were children. These are not cakey brownies, they are more like fudge and chewy when refrigerated.
