½ c. lard or butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
6 T. sour milk
4 scant c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp. baking powder
3 mashed bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter or lard well. Add eggs, soda, and sour milk. Add flour, nuts, powder, and bananas. Bake at 350ºF for 50 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
