Contadina tomato paste (1-2 large cans)
Contadina tomato sauce (2 29 oz cans)
Sugar
Italian seasoning
Oregano
Garlic powder
Dried Basil
Crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, add tomato paste and sauce.
Start with 1 1/2 cans paste and 1 1/2 large cans sauce.
Take empty large can and fill with water and add to sauce.
Add sugar and seasonings.
Start with 1/3 cup sugar and 1-2 tbsp italian seasoning, garlic powder and oregano; 1 tbsp basil and 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.
Stir all and simmer on low.
Cook pasta of choice.
Save 1 cup of pasta water and add to sauce.
Continue to cook on low and add sugar and seasoning to taste as sauce cooks.

You may add ground beef or meatballs to sauce. Crazy Nanny always put in way too much onion!!
