! Cup unsalted butter softened
1 2/3 Cup of sugar
2 Large eggs
2 t vanilla extract
3 - 5 drops of bright green food coloring
3 1/3 C all-purpose flour
2 t corn starch
2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 1/2 C red and green M&Ms plus additional 1/2 C for topping cookies
Directions:

In large bowl combine butter and sugar using mixer until well combined approx. 1 min.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir in vanilla and food coloring until combined
In separate bowl whisk flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
On low speed mix dry ingredients into butter mix. Mix until well incorporated.
Fold in M&M candies, cover bowl with plastic wrap. Chill at least 30 mins. in frig.
Once dough has chilled preheat oven to 350 º and line cookie sheet with parchment.
Drop dough by 1 1/2TBsp. scoops on parchment; If you prefer round roll into ball with your hands.
Cook 12 minutes
Allow cookies to cool completely on cookie sheet before removing
