6 Potatoes
Cube of Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Sprinkling of Pecan's (IF no nut allergy)
Parsley, Salt and Pepper, To Taste

Added by Granddaughter, over time:
Craisins or Raisins, handful
8 oz can of Water Chestnuts (crunch in place of pecans, given guest nut allergy)


Directions:
Directions:
Bake whole sweet potatoes, after scrubbing and poking with fork, for an hour,
til soft. 375º or 400º
Peel when cool
Melt cube of butter in fry pan or wok.
Put in Sweet potatoes, cut however you like.
Sprinkle Brown Sugar, while stirring on medium high heat.
Sprinkle in Pecans or water chestnuts, and /or craisins., some parsley
and salt and pepper.
Turn down and simmer well covered with sugar and butter.
Cook about an hour, stirring 4 times.
