1 large 6oz strawberry Banana Jello
2 3oz Vanilla INSTANT pudding
⅓ of a pound cake cut into squares
3 sliced bananas
1 8oz Cool Whip
1 shot glass of sherry (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Make Jello using a little less water & add sherry. Pour over banana slices and cake squares. Let set in fridge.

Make pudding per directions and pour over set Jello.

Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.

My mom made this many times over the years. My husband and kids are not crazy for Jello so I will sometimes make extra pudding to make 4 total layers ( pudding with bananas and cake/ Cool Whip/ pudding mixture/ Cool Whip. It will need to sit overnight to let the pudding get into the pound cake a little. It is more like banana pudding this way - could use vanilla wafers instead of pound cake.
