1 cup Dromedary dates, sliced
1 cup golden raisins
2/ 3 cup butter or margarine
11/4 cuplight brown sugar, packed
1/ 4 cup dark molasses
1 1/2 cups hot water
Combine the above and boil for 5 minutes, cool.

Add 2 eggs and beat well with large wooden spoon. Add 1 jar Dromedary fruits and peels
1 cup chopped nuts.

Sift together 3 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon.

Add the above gradually to fruit mixture beating well after each addition. Pour into a 9 inch greased tube pan, line with wax paper on sides and bottom, grease again.
Bake in 275 degree oven for 2-2 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and cool, invert and remove paper.
Wrap in wax paper for 2-3 weeks before serving.
