1/2 lb butter (do not use margarine)
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
red and green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all (except food coloring) thoroughly. Separate into 2 equal sections, add red to one and green to the other. form dough into logs, wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight. Slice, bake at 350º for approximately 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned on the bottom. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
