4 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt (optional) * I don't use
( my gram was salt sensitive so we added in salt when we bake ours)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoons of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
½ teaspoons clove
1 cup of canola oil
1 can of pumpkin (19 ⅓ oz)
⅔ cup of water
4 eggs

Pre heat oven 350º F

Mix all ingredients well

Put mixture in a well greased bread pan or muffin tins (make sure to grease corners of pans)

Place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until done.

Makes 3 big loafs

My gram was an amazing baker even with her lack of salt. She would always bake things for bingo and her family. I hope this recipe will bring a little ounce of joy and memories and it did to my siblings and I.
