Cookie ingredients
1 lb. butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Optional glaze recipe
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar.
-1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 tbsp. Butter.
- 3 to 4 tbsp. Milk or Light Cream.
Makes 1 1/2 cups of glaze

Directions:

Cream butter. Add sugar, mix well. Add beaten eggs, flour, and vanilla. Mix well.
Divide dough into fist size balls. Flour surface ( cutting board, parchment paper, counter top), roll out dough to about a 1/4 inch thickness. Use your favorite cookie cutters, then carefully move cut dough to foil lined cookie sheet. Decorate with sprinkles!! Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes, or just browning around edges.

Glaze directions
- Skip sprinkles step, bake plain
- Divide glaze into several small bowls and add a drop or 2 of different food colorings.
- Drizzle glaze with spoon or frost lightly with a knife.
- Let glazed cookies 'set' for a few minutes
