2 1/2 cups of ground walnuts (use the food processor)
2/3 c whole wheat flour
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 c flaxseed meal
1/3 c carob ships (can also use high quality dark chocolate mini chips)
1/2 c plus 2 tsp maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350

Using food processor, grind walnuts (measure after grinding)

Mix all ingredients. If mixture seems very dry, add up to 2 T of water.

Place parchment paper on cookie sheet and drop 1 T ball of dough onto sheet. Flatten slightly with fingers.

Bake 10-12 minutes, until golden. Cool on cookie rack and store in airtight container.
