1 cup salted butter softened
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ tsp. vanilla
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
14 baking carmels unwrapped
1 Tablespoon heavy cream

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325º. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paer or silicone baking mats.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar using a mixer.
3. Add in eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
4. Beat in cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
5. Use a spoon or ruber spatula to stir in floor until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
6.. Scoop out about 2 tabspoons of the cookie doiugh and roll into a ball and place on prepared pans. Repeat with remaining dough until you have 24 cookies. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.
7. Bake for 12 minutes.
8. Meanwhile, place unwrapped carmels and heavy cream into a microwave safe bowl. Cook for 30 seconds. Stir, and microwave again for 30 more seconds. Continue until carmel is completly melted and smooth.
9. Once the cookies are out of the oven, drizzle with carmel and let cool competely on a wire rack.
