1/2 cup melted butter
1/1/2 cups quick quaker oats
3/4 cups sugar
1 egg
1 Tbl flour
1 tsp baking powder
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add oats to butter and let it stand.
Mix sugar, egg,flour and baking powder and salt. Add to the butter/oatmeal mixture. Make small dot of dough on cookie sheet which has been greased and floured.
These cookies spread so need lots of room. Bake at 325 until beginning to brown
Remove quickly from cookie sheet. Store in container with tight cover as they need to stay crisp.
