1 cup sugar
½ cup butter (the original called for "oleo")
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt (I added this ingredient)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease a 9 x 13 inch loaf pan.

Cream sugar, butter and egg together. Add milk.

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix into wet mixture.

Pour into baking pan.
 

Crumble topping


Ingredients:

½ cup sugar
4 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon (more if you like)
2 teaspoons salted butter (the original called for "oleo")
pinch of salt (I added this ingredient)

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble all together with your hands until it is well mixed. Sprinkle evenly over the cake after it is in the pan.

Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes or until done.

This recipe came from Jacki's and Jodi's great grandmother. They never met her, but they have this recipe that belonged to her!
