3/4 lbs Butter
6 eggs
2 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla (I used probably about 1 T)
3/4 c Milk
3/8 tsp Salt
3 c Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat until well incorporated. Scrape bowl Add the rest of the ingredients and beat for 20 minutes.

Bake in a well greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle the top with granulated sugar

Bake at 350º for 15 minutes Lower the temperature to 325º and bake for 1 hour.
