1 c lard
2 c oatmeal
1 c raisins
1 c sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c milk
Pinch of salt
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1 t soda
1/2 c nuts
Frosting Ingredients: TRY THIS
1 stick butter or 1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons
1/4 cup peanut butter crunchy or smooth
1/4 cup buttermilk or regular milk I use buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Try this frosting
Peanut Butter Icing
1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup of peanut butter smooth or crunchy
1/4 cup of evaporated milk
2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar


Directions:
Directions:
Boil oatmeal in lard for 10 minutes. Add raisins last 5 minutes. When cool, add sugar. Add eggs, milk, salt and vanilla. Add soda to flour, then add to liquid mixture. Fold in nuts.
Put into a 11" x 17" greased jelly roll pan. 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Put Peanut Butter Frosting on top. TRY THIS
Combine butter, peanut butter and milk in a pan on top of stove and bring to a boil. Remove pan and add powdered sugar and vanilla extract stirring to melt all ingredients together. You can add more milk if frosting gets too thick. Pour over cake and spread with a knife to cover entire cake.

Try this Icing Directions:
Combine butter, peanut butter and milk in a pan on top of the stove over medium heat stirring continuously. Add powdered sugar, continue stirring to melt all ingredients together. You can add more milk if frosting gets too thick. Spread with a knife over blondies.
