1/2 gallon can Grandma Brown Baked Beans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2-pound bacon, reserve 2 or 3 slices
1/2 cup water.

Directions:
Directions:
Chop bacon.

In saucepan, boil chopped bacon, brown sugar and water until bacon is cooked.

Mix beans and boiled mixture together thoroughly.

Place in baking dish.

Top with reserved bacon slices.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until bacon on top is done,.

To double recipe use:

1 Gallon can of beans, 1 pound of bacon, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of water and large casserole dish.

Bake for 1 hour or until bacon is done.
