1 cup whipping cream
¼ cup butter
12 large marshmallows
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Mix white sugar and whipping cream together, add butter and marshmallows. In a pan, mix over low heat, then bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Slowly take off the heat and add chocolate chips. Cool and beat until thickened for spreading on a cake. This makes a big recipe and is good as a fudge.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
It was always a treat having Grandma's frosting on cakes or as a fudge. We enjoyed helping her make it growing up, but a lot didn't make it onto the cake or as fudge. It was always a holiday tradition as to whose fudge turned out the best, Grandma or Grandpa's.
