1 cup sour milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices. Add alternately with milk to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well oiled (greased) loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
