1 pound hamburger
1 large onion chopped
1 can (16 ounce) whole tomatos
1 can tomato sauce
2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
1 green pepper chopped
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 to 2 cans kidney beans, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir hamburger, onion and green pepper in stew pot until hamburger is light brown. Stir in tomatoes, chili powder, salt, sugar. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Stir in beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until hot. About 15 minutes.

This is what I grow up eating. My mom used kidney beans when she made her chili. So that's why I like my chili with kidney beans and not pinto bean. But since Gary loved pinto beans that what I usually made my chili with.
