Ingredients: 1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup peach syrup, drained from can of peaches
1 box gingerbread mix
1 can peach halves, drained (save juice)

Directions: |
Directions:Mix together chopped nuts, brown sugar and melted butter. Place in bottom of custard cups. Place drained peach half cut side down (pat dry first). Mix ginger-bread according to instructions except substitute sour cream and 1/4 cup peach syrup for water. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Serve with dollop of Cool Whip on top. |

Notes: I was "all over the place" trying to find out who submitted this recipe as there was no name on it. I finally sent the actual written recipe to Eddie who wrote back saying they had been looking for it! No, I didn't recognize the handwriting and for sure didn't know the printing of Ted and Charlene's address for when they were stationed at Eielson AFB in Alaska back in 1986 which appeared at the bottom of the paper! It only added mystery because they said it was not from them. Glad to know it's proper contributor....and it sounds pretty tasty, too!
