1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup of creamy peanut butter
½ cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels

Directions:

1. Preheat over to 375 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, combine the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
4. Using a handheld electric mixer on medium speed beat the mixture until smooth.
5. Stir in the egg and vanilla.
6. Gradually stir in the flour mixture just until combined.
7. Stir in the chocolate morsels.
8. Drop rounded dough portions onto the prepared baking sheets about 2 inch apart.
9. Place one sheet on the upper rack and one on the lower rack. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden. Switching the sheets top to bottom half way through cooking.
10. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool on the sheets for 5 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
