FULL RECIPE (10-12 cookies)

4 sticks butter, softened
1 Cup granulated sugar
4 Cups all purpose flour
2 Cups Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray round tin pans with cooking spray and set them on a baking sheet.

If butter is hard, microwave for 15-20 seconds - soften but don't melt it.

With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Gradually add flour until combined.

Place mixture in freezer for about 5 minutes to cool.

Stir chocolate chips into cool dough.

Using an ice cream scoop or large spoon, evenly distribute dough into cookie tins. Using a large spoon, press dough into tins so it's packed down.

Bake at 350º for 14 minutes. I check at 14 minutes and rotate pan if they need to bake longer. They may look under cooked at 14 minutes but will set up once out of the oven. An additional 5 minutes should be plenty but this varies by oven.

I let the tins cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet before removing the cookies, otherwise they'll fall apart when taking them out of the tins.
