3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
1teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 unbaked pie shell, 9 inch

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, stir in first five ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. (These will rise to top during baking). Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

Variation: Chocolate Pecan Pie
Follow recipe above. Melt 4 squares (1 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate with margarine.
