1 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk or water
2 tablespoons shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg

Crumb Topping:
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 8” square pan or 9” round pan. Beat all ingredients except topping in a large bowl on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on medium speed 4 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly. Stir all ingredients for crumb topping together and spread over cake. Place under oven broiler about 3 inches from heat for about 3 minutes or until golden brown.
