1 1/2 pounds Fresh Green Beans- washed and trimmed
4 slices bacon chopped
1 cup water or broth
1/2 stick butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in large skillet or pot until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside. Add green beans to skillet with 1 cup water or broth. Simmer 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Add butter and bacon.
