1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup grated carrot
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Drizzle :
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
3 to 4 teaspoons orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, butter, egg, 2tablespoons juice and vanilla. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add flour, oats, carrot, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Stir in pecans.

Drop dough by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until light golden brown. Cool.

In small mixing bowl, combine drizzle ingredients. Stir until smooth. Drizzle mixture over cookies. Let dry completely before storing.
