2 Large Oranges
1 lb Sugar
6 Eggs
2 teaspoons of Anise
4 oz oil
5 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
6 Cups Flour

GLAZE
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons water
1/8 teaspoon (3drops) Anise
Nonpareil sprinkles (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Take oranges and grate into bowl. Squeeze oranges and add sugar. Stir in eggs, oil, salt, anise, and baking powder. Mix in flour 1 cup at a time.
Roll onto lightly floured surface. Scoop out small melon-ball size balls and shape round before placing onto a non greased cookie sheet.
Brush dough balls with egg was before baking
Bake at 350º until cookie turns light brown. Remove and let cool in pan. When cool brush liberally with glaze. Twice if necessary. Cover with sprinkles (optional)
