3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar plus more for rolling cookies in
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter, sugar and molasses.

2. Add the egg to the butter mixture and cream until smooth.

3. In a separate bowl, sift together the baking soda, flour, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Once combined, add to the wet mixture.

4. Scoop and roll dough balls in sugar. Space balls evenly on a cooking tray.

5. Bake at 375º for 5 minutes, rotate/flip trays and bake 1 minute. Remove cookies from tray to cool.
