1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup white corn syrup
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking soda
nuts optional
10 large handfuls of popped popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, sugar, corn syrup, and cream of tartar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Be careful, it will foam up. Pour over popcorn (add nuts at this point if you like), stir well, and spread onto cookie sheet to cool.
