½ C Sugar
½ C Brown Sugar
1 C Butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 C Canned pumpkin
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Egg
2 C Flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
¾ C Pecans (chopped)

FROSTING
3 tbls Butter
½ C Brown Sugar
¼ C Milk
2 C Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2, In large bowl, beat sugar, ½ C brown sugar and 1 C butter
3. Add pumpkin, vanilla and egg. Mix well
4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix well
5. Add pecan, mix
6. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes
7. Drop 2" cookies onto greased cookie sheet
8. Bake 10 minutes
9. Transfer cookies to cooling rack and cool completely

FROSTING
1. In medium saucepan combine butter and ½ C brown sugar. Bring to boil, cook over medium heat for 1-minute, stirring constantly
2. Cool for 10-minutes
3. Add milk and beat until smooth. Beat in enough powdered sugar for desired consistency
4. Frost cooled cookies. Let stand until frosting is set
