1/2 c. butter - softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 dozen rectangular chocolate mints

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, shortening, sugar and egg.
Stir in flour, powder and salt.
Chill 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400F.
Roll half the dough into 13X9 inch rectangular, between parchment paper
Place mints on dough (6X6)
Roll the remaining dough the same way and cover the mints
Cut and press edges to seal.
Bake 7-9 minutes.
Cool on racks.
