2 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 c. ground almonds
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Beat whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Add sugar, beating until stiff peaks.
Fold in extract and almonds.
Drop 40 plops onto parchment-lined sheet.
Top each with 3 almond slices.
Bake 15 minutes.
Cool on sheet for 3 minutes.
