1 c. sliced almonds
2 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 large eggs
3 Tbsp almond extract
1 Tbsp water
1 c. mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Toast almonds until golden brown.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, extract and water.
Add flour mixture.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Divide dough in half.
Form each into a log.
Wrap in parchment and chill 2 hrs.
Preheat oven to 375F.
Lay logs onto greased baking sheet and flatten to 1/2" thickness.
Bake 15 minutes.
While hot, cut into 1 inch slices.
Place each, side down on baking sheet.
Bake 7 mins., flip and bake 7 mins. more.
Cool on racks.
