Ingredients:
3-4 Skinless Chicken Breasts
4 stalks of celery washed and cut in half
1 large onion peeled and then halved
1/2 bunch of fresh parsley
1/2 jar of Better Than Bouillon Roasted Chicken Base | 16oz jar
4 quarts of water
1 tsp salt
1/2 pepper
1 large bag egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a large stock pot
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a low simmer. Simmer until chicken is done, you can easily pull it apart. Remove onion and celery and parsley. Squeeze into pot the liquid from these. Remove chicken and cut into small pieces. When ready to eat bring to a boil again and add noodles. Follow directions for cooking noodle on the bag. Do not let them get to mushy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Can make with whole Chicken or Chicken breast with the skin on but there will be more grease to skim off after it simmers. I use skinless chicken breasts.
If you like vegetables in your soup, you can cut into small pieces the onion, celery, parsley and leave in the soup. You can also add small carrots.
Granma's soup has always been used when someone is not feeling well or it is really cold outside. Always serve with a big loaf of bread.
