Olive oil
1/2 cup onion
1/2 tsp garlic
Add juice from a 32 oz. can of Red Gold whole peeled tomatoes to a large pot
Put Tomatoes from the can into a blender and blend into chunks
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1tsp dried sweet basil
1 1/2/ tbsp. dried parsley

Sauté onions in bottom of pot with 1 tsp of olive oil, until golden
Then add all the ingredients to the pot and bring to a slow boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for at least 2-3 hours.

Can double and triple this recipe as needed for a big family dinner. Serve with Grandma's fabulous meatballs and spaghetti noodles.
Good served with bread and salad on the side.
