1 cup butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 cups flour
dash of salt

Filling:
2 eggs
2 t melted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 cup pecans or walnuts (or chopped dates, etc.)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend tassy ingredients with pastry blender. Make into small balls and shape in miniature pans to make small tarts. 1/2 inch muffin tins are perfect.

For filling, mix eggs, butter and salt together. Add nuts. Put mixture into individual tarts. (Don't overfill.)

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow tarts to cool in pan before removing.




For variety, fill with lemon cheese, strawberry, blueberry or cheese filling.
