1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 (15oz.) red kidney beans (with juice)
1 (15oz.) black beans (with juice)
1 (15oz.) tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2oz) mexican-style tomatoes with juice
2 - 3 T. chili powder

Saute beef, onion, garlic and peppers over medium heat until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain grease. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or with all the fixings for a taco salad.
