Ingredients: 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. of hamburger 1 packet taco seasoning mix 3/4 cup water 1 jar of Mild Salsa (16 oz.) 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheese (not Mozzarella) 4-5 burritos tortillas or 5-8 soft taco tortillas (depends on size of baking dish) 1/2 cup (4 oz.) Sour Cream (optional)

Directions:Pre-heat oven to 350º F. In skillet, brown hamburger over medium high heat. Add Taco Seasoning mix & water according to packet directions. Combine thoroughly. Divide mixture into 3 portions in skillet. Spray Round Baking dish with Cooking Spray. Put 1-2 T Salsa on bottom of dish Place 1 tortilla, burrito or taco in dish Put 1/3 of hamburger mixture on tortilla, spread out to edge of dish Cover mixture with 1/4 to 1/3 of cheese Pour Salsa over cheese Place a tortilla over mixture Repeat hamburger/cheese/salsa/tortilla layers 2 more times.
Cover with Foil Bake 15 minutes. Remover Foil. Sprinkle any remaining cheese on top Bake 5 more minutes. Let rest 10 minutes before cutting Serve with Sour Cream |

Notes: Easily substitute shredded chicken or pork, ground sausage or turkey for hamburger. You could substitute Hot or Medium Salsa. I have used many cheeses with this recipe, including Queso Dip. I sometimes mix (sneak) the Sour Cream in with the salsa.
