Grandma's Peach Cobbler Recipe

1 stick of salted butter
¾ C milk
1 C sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 C good self rising flour
3 tsp baking powder
7-8 peaches
¾ C brown sugar


Directions:
Directions:
In a 9 x 13 cake pan, put stick of butter in pan and melt while oven is pre-heating
Set pan on top of stove after butter is melted
In a bowl, peel and slice all peaches
In a separate bowl add milk, sugar, salt, flour, and baking powder, mix well
Pour peaches over melted butter in cake pan, spread evenly with spoon
Then pour batter over peaches, spread evenly with spoon and top with 3/4 cup of
brown sugar sprinkled lightly.
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes, Enjoy!

Especially good warm with vanilla ice cream on top!
