1- 6 oz. package of puffed rice
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
⅓ cube of butter or margarine
1 t. vanilla
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Place puffed rice into a large bowl and set aside.

Mix sugar, corn syrup, food coloring, butter, and vanilla in medium pot.

Cook over medium heat to softball stage, 234º-240º F.

Pour hot sugar mixture over puffed rice and mix well.

Form into balls (works well to slightly wet hands occasionally)

Cool on waxed or parchment paper.
