1 cup shortening
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 ½ vanilla or almond extract
4cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix soda with cream. Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs. Add milk alternately with dry ingredients add extra flour if. Necessary to make stiff enough to roll out. Roll. Cut into shapes and bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes. Do not overtake. Cookies should still be white. May be sugared before baking or frosted when cooked.
