1 tube (8 oz.) refrigerator buttermilk biscuits
Oil for deep frying
Sugar (for rolling doughnuts in)

Directions:
Remove biscuits from tube, flatten a little and push a small hole through center of each one. Fry in 350º oil turning once or twice, until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Sprinkle or shake in a bag of sugar and serve warm. Makes 10 doughnuts.

These were the Halloween treat all the kids (and parents) liked to receive when they were trick or treating at Grandma Rose's house in Geddes. She had them warm and ready for anyone that stopped by on Halloween night!
